bObsweep App
Amazon Alexa Connection
UltraVision works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home devices. We recommend enabling the bObsweep skill on your Alexa app before connecting UltraVision to Wi-Fi. This way Alexa automatically finds and connects to UltraVision when UltraVision is connected to Wi-Fi.
Step 1
In order to enable the bObsweep skill on the Alexa App, make sure:
The bObsweep app is installed on your phone.
The Alexa app is installed on your phone.
Your Amazon Alexa device is connected to your Amazon Alexa app.
Once these steps have been completed, it's time to enable the bObsweep skill on the Alexa app.
Step 2
Open the bObsweep app and go to Settings in the main control page.
Tap the Alexa | Google Assistant menu item, then tap Alexa: the Alexa instructions will appear on the next page. Scroll down to Step 3 and note down the email address and password provided in this step. Keep this page open. You will be using it later.
Step 3
Open the Alexa app.
Tap the sidebar menu located on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Select "Skills & Games"
Search for "bObsweep" and select the bObsweep icon.
Then tap "Enable."
Copy and paste the email address and password the bObsweep app’s Settings page in Step 2.
If prompted, tap “Link Now.”
Then, tap “Authorize.”
You have successfully linked the bObsweep skill on the Alexa app!
Step 4
Now it’s time to connect UltraVision to Wi-Fi. As soon as UltraVision's connected to Wi-Fi, the Alexa app automatically connects to UltraVision.
If UltraVision was already connected to Wi-Fi and the bObsweep skill was enabled on the Alexa app afterwards, tap “Next” after enabling the skill in Step 3.
Tap the “Devices” icon located at the bottom menu on the Alexa app screen.
Then tap “All Devices.”
If Alexa was able to locate UltraVision, he will be displayed on the screen confirming that your bot has been successfully linked to Alexa.
If you don’t see it, it can be because UltraVision's been connected to the bObsweep app before enabling the Alexa skill and Alexa was not able to locate UltraVision afterwards.
On the Home page of the bObsweep app, delete UltraVision, then follow Wi-Fi connection instructions to pair UltraVision to the bObsweep app again.
Go back to the Alexa app, and look under devices. UltraVision's now added to your Alexa app, and you can control him using voice commands.
To start cleaning:
"Alexa, start vacuum." or use UltraVision's nickname on the app instead: “Alexa, start [nickname]”.
To charge:
"Alexa, turn off vacuum / [nickname]."
