By default, your bot decides when to return to his charging station to freshen up based on several factors, including the amount of dust and debris, soil level, and the size of the space. When he freshens up, your bot may empty his dustbin, rinse his mops, and refill his water reservoir.

Because of this, cleaning times can be longer. You can adjust your bot’s self-empty and auto-clean behavior in the app under Settings > Cleaning Preferences > Auto-Clean and Self-Empty

Auto-clean | Refresh cycle

Depending on the refresh cycle you select, your bot may pause mid-clean to wash his mops.

Default
Suitable for general household cleaning. Your bot automatically decides when it’s time to freshen up his mops.

Light
Best for low-traffic homes. Your bot focuses on faster cleaning and only freshens his mops after completing an entire cleaning session.

Heavy
Ideal for high-traffic homes. Your bot freshens his mops every 30 minutes.

Max
Best for very high-traffic homes. Your bot freshens his mops every 15 minutes.

Pick the option that best matches your household. Then choose your preferred mop-wash water temperature:

Room temperature: 70 °F / 20 °C
Heated: 122 °F / 50 °C

Auto-clean | Deep-clean cycle

After your bot finishes cleaning, he automatically returns to his charging station to:

1. Empty his dustbin

2. Run a deep-clean cycle on his mops with heated water and detergent

3. Dry the mops. By default, drying takes about 4.5 hours.

You can also select Quiet Dry mode, where drying takes about 7 hours for quieter operation.

Self-empty

By default, your bot self-empties every time he docks—even during mid-clean refreshes. This can be loud, and after a few runs you may notice his bin doesn’t always need to be emptied that often. To customize this, adjust the self-empty frequency in the app. You can choose a number between 0 and 7 docking intervals, so your bot only self-empties as often as your home and habits require.
