What You Need (click to download):
With FloorSense™ technology, your bot uses real-time floor-type detection to recognize carpets and automatically lift his mops while cleaning them. That said, if you have a very thin specialty area rug or any part of the home that your bot does not treat as carpet but you do not want mopped, you can draw NoMop zones there to tell him he may sweep those areas but should not mop them.
Drawing NoMop zones
1. Open the bObsweep app, and click on Map.
2. Click the edit icon to view the Map Edit Toolbox. Then select Add NoMop Zones.
3. Tap on the map where you want to add a NoMop Zone. A blue rectangle will appear on the map.
4. Resize and move to place the NoMop zone on the map where desired.
5. Then, tap on the zone to save or delete.
6. You can also tap away from the zone to close the popup menu and continue editing.
7. Repeat to create up to 10 NoMop zones on the map.
8. To delete a NoMop zone, double tap the unwanted NoMop zone and select Delete.
9. To edit a NoMop zone, tap the zone, move or edit it, then tap it again, and hit Save.
10. Hit Back to return to the Map Edit Toolbox.
Note: It is best to keep the bot off high-pile or plush carpets if it could get stuck. Add NoSweep zones on the map to keep the bot out of these areas.
If you would like to force-mop a space, toggle FloorSense off and remove any NoMop zones in the area.
