Saving multiple floor maps
Dustin can save up to 3 maps at a time.
They can be maps of 3 floor levels of your home, or 3 versions of the same floor map, each with different customization and modifications.
To save the first floor map:
1. Open the bObsweep app and go to the Map page.
2. Tap the drop-down menu icon on top of the Map page.
3. Tap the Active Map, and hit add to save.
4. If prompted, give your map a name and Continue.
The map will save into the first available slot.
Scroll down to verify the map is successfully saved.
To save a new floor map on Dustin:
1. Place him on the new floor he is mapping.
2. Open the Map page and tap the Map dropdown menu.
3. Tap on the Active Map, and hit remove to erase it. The map page will show an empty map with the Swift Map button underneath.
4. Hit Swift Map. Dustin will start exploring and mapping the new floor. When done, Dustin will return to where he started.
5. Wait for Dustin to complete mapping of the new floor. Then, open the map page to edit, label, and customize this map to your liking.
6. On the Map page, tap the Map dropdown menu.
7. Tap the Active Map, and hit add to save.
8. If prompted, give your map a name and Continue.
The map will save into the second slot.
Now that you have different floor maps saved, you can switch amongst them, to load the floor map Dustin is set to clean, as his active map.
To add cleaning schedules for each floor map, set the respective floor map as the active map, and create cleaning schedules.
Make sure Dustin is placed on the correct floor before his cleaning schedule for that floor starts, or you will see a localization trouble pop up.
