Sometimes, despite all of your efforts, your beloved bObsweep still might not feel well. If you encounter a problem with bObsweep, you can check for an easy solution under Troubleshoot @ Home. If you cannot find an answer easily online, we have a devoted customer service team who will be happy to assist you.
All of our products purchased from authorized dealers come with a one-year limited warranty. You need to register your bObsweep to activate your warranty.
We are a part of a movement that believes that purchasing a product means you can use it and repair it whenever and however you want. We have produced repair manuals in video and written formats that allow you to see how easy it is to fix your product and enjoy it for a lifetime.
All bObsweep products purchased from an authorized dealer include a one-year limited warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, damages that might have been caused during the shipping process, and damages that might occur during normal use of Bob. Consumable parts like brushes, filters, and batteries are only covered if they were damaged before you started using bObsweep. For normal use warranty on those parts, Coverage Plans are available for purchase.
bObsweep units purchased from any authorized dealer and registered in a timely manner warrants the bObsweep product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, bObsweep will choose to either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts; or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new, or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product; or (3) refund the purchase price of the product. bObsweep may request that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that we provide in fulfillment of the warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by bObsweep, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes bObsweep’s property. Parts provided by bObsweep in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. When a refund is given, the product for which the refund is provided must be returned to bObsweep and becomes bObsweep’s property.
Exclusion and Limitations
This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for bObsweep and sold by authorized dealers. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers other than bObsweep may provide their own warranties to the end user purchaser, but bObsweep, in so far as permitted by law, provides their products “as is”.
bObsweep does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. bObsweep is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use.
This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with non-bObsweep products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by bObsweep; (d) to a product or part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of bObsweep; (e) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (f) if any bObsweep serial number has been removed or defaced.
To the extend permitted by law, this warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, statutory, express or implied. As permitted by applicable law, bObsweep specifically disclaims any and all statutory or implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, suitedness for a particular purpose, and warranties against hidden or latent defects. If bObsweep cannot lawfully disclaim statutory or implied warranties, then to the extent permitted by law, all such warranties shall be limited in duration to the duration of this express warranty and to repair or replacement service as determined by bObsweep. No bObsweep reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
Except as provided in this warranty and to the extent permitted by law, bObsweep is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to: loss of use, loss of revenue, loss of actual or anticipated profits, loss of the use of money loss of anticipated savings, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of reputation.
Consumer Protection Laws
For consumers who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, the benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer protection laws and regulations. Some countries, states, and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions or limitations on the duration of implied warranties or conditions, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by country, state, or province.
How to claim your warranty
To receive warranty services you must follow these steps:
- Within two weeks of purchase, register your bObsweep.
- Keep the original receipt of your purchase and present it upon request.
- Keep the original packaging of your purchase so you can safely ship the product back if needed.
bObsweep has no physical after-sales service operation. All after-sales services, including exchanges and repairs, are handled through post. All service inquiries must be initiated through the submission of a Service Request Form on our website. Once you have submitted your service request and provided us with necessary warranty information, you will receive a Service Authorization Receipt along with instructions on how to ship the product back to us for exchange or service. You will need to print the Service Authorization Receipt and visibly attach it on the exterior of the postal packaging before shipping the product to us. Items returned without the Service Authorization Receipt will not be accepted.
products need to be thoroughly cleaned and packed together with all accessories in their original packaging, along with a copy of the original proof of purchase. If the product is returned soiled, you will be charged a cleaning fee not covered in your warranty. Shipping the goods in any packaging other than their original might cause them damage, and might void your warranty. bObsweep accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of products during their return, even when they are shipped in original packaging. Returning the products for exchange or service is at the sole risk of the customer and any disputes must be handled directly with the shipping services used for returning the product. When returning an item for repair or service, postage costs are always to be paid by the customer. These costs must be paid at the time of shipping, as we do not accept pay-at-destination packages. However, based on the discretion of our support team, we may refund you with all or part of the postage costs. This depends on the cause and the nature of the damage, or in cases that the product was faulty on arrival. As always, you are welcome to e-mail our costumer service about any questions you may have.
What NOT to do
Never use accessories or parts (including batteries) that were not manufactured or sold directly by us. The use of third-party and other parts and accessories (including bObsweep brand accessories that were not purchased from an authorized dealer) might harm the product and void your warranty.
Do not ship bObsweep products in packaging other than the original.
Even after bObsweep’s warranty is over, we will divide the maintenance charges with you. Regardless of the reason for the damage, during the first five years of your purchase, we will replace/repair bObsweep when needed. In these first five years, depending on the nature and the reason of the damage, we will subsidize up to 25% of the replacement/repair charges for you.
We wish for bObsweep to be the only robotic vacuum you will ever need. Instead of tossing him away after five years and buying a new one, we hope that you get attached to bObsweep and will not want to part with him. We are committed to providing you with a lifetime of support and service. Videos and manuals explaining how to repair each part of bObsweep can be found on our website and each part of bObsweep can be purchased from us. If you cannot find what you need, please e-mail us and we will provide you with the parts that you need.
If Bob is not feeling well one day, do not panic! Just call or e-mail us and we will find a way to get him back on his wheels.
Please note: Since we are constantly advancing our technology and enhancing our product design, it is possible that at anytime our product may be replaced by newer, upgraded models as older models become obsolete. As a result, with any replacement, we reserve the right to replace your product with a newer model which will be comparable, or superior in performance to the original product, even during the one-year limited warranty period or the five-year subsidized repair.
For repairable, obsolete products that need spare parts no longer made, we will either provide you with a refurbished, upgraded model at the same repairing costs, or offer you the option to purchase a new, upgraded model at a discounted price.
