Performing a Hard Reset
To erase all of the information stored on your bot, you can perform a Hard Reset. This will erase all of the bot's data, including maps, cleaning schedules, cleaning history, and any other customized cleaning data you’ve recorded on him.
1. To perform a hard reset , remove the bot from his charging station and ensure he’s powered on.
2. The hard reset is embedded in your bot as one of his Home Checkup Test steps. To put him in Checkup mode press and hold the GO!, CHARGE, and WIFI buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the bot says: “Home Checkup Mode Activated”.
In this mode, your bot's LiDAR sensor rotates.
3. Do not perform a complete Home Checkup Test. Instead, press the WIFI button 6 times until you hear “Reset Device”, then press GO!.
Your bot's data is now being erased. Wait a minute or so as he goes through erasing the data and rebooting himself. Once the bot is rebooted and the screen lights up again, the hard reset is complete.
