To erase all of the information stored on Dustin Plus, you can perform a Hard Reset. This will erase all user data, including maps, cleaning schedules, cleaning history, and any other customized cleaning data.
1. Remove Dustin Plus from his charging station and ensure he’s powered ON.
2. The hard reset is embedded in Dustin Plus as a Step in his Home Checkup system. To put Dustin Plus in Checkup mode press and hold the “GO” “CHARGE” and “WI-FI” for a few seconds until the bot says: “Home Checkup Mode Activated”. Dustin Plus is now in Checkup mode. In this mode, Dustin Plus's LiDAR sensor rotates.
3. Do not perform a complete home checkup test. Instead, press the Wi-Fi button 6 times until you hear "Reset Device" and then press GO.
4. Dustin's data is now erased. Wait a minute or so as Dustin Plus goes through erasing the data and rebooting himself. Once Dustin Plus's rebooted and the screen lights up again, the hard reset is complete.
